Figs grow on the Ficus tree (Ficus carica), which is a member of the Mulberry family.  Figs richness in vitamin B1makes them beneficial in cases of nerve inflammation. They are excellent nutrition for those affected by weakness and osteomalacia (softening of the bones). They offer protection against these diseases because they are rich  in calcium and phosphates .

Figs
Simply the best quality dry fruits esp the Figs. We discovered ABK  on a visit to Srinagar walking on Polo View Road many years ago. Today we buy online, but the ambience of the store with all the smells and the wood paneling - was something from a bygone era. Must visit if one gets a chance.
